Tornado Shelter
There is a tornado shelter located in the basement of Chaparral Hills Baptist Church to help provide safety and security to our local neighborhood when severe weather occurs. The shelter is open when Potter county is under a tornado watch or a tornado warning. All pets must be in a pet carrier to be allowed into the shelter.
To find the storm shelter, enter the west doors of the Activity Center were the Tornado Shelter Entrance sign is located. Immediately turn right and follow the stairs down into the shelter.
